FH thinks I'm nuts. I was up until 2am last night sampling songs. He says that I'm losing sleep over something that no one will remember.
I haven't picked the song I'm walking down the aisle to. I have 'tried on' many songs, but nothing seems to fit. He and the bridal party are walking to 'Feelin' Good' - Michael Buble.
This is a second marriage for both of us, so a lot of songs about first love don't seem to apply.
I'm a music junkie, but he says I have eclectic taste. I want a song that is familiar to people, not very cliche and not traditional. Something that will set the tone (nontraditional and fun)
I have dabbled with: Too much heaven - Bee Gees I'll be (acoustic) - Edwin McCain Thank you for loving me - Bon Jovi I only have eyes for you - the Flamingos Story book Love from the Princess Bride (Instrumental)
Need your help ASAP... The officiant has asked for my song and we meet with the DJ to finalize songs soon. HELP!

I'm not familiar with a lot of your songs.
I know my bridal party walked down to 'somewhere over the rainbow' - the hawaiian version.
I walked down to traditional bridal march.
the processional was 'at last' by etta james.

Sorry, but I'm totally with your FH on this one. No one will notice or remember. To these people, music is music and one melody will sound very similar to another melody.
No ones gonna sit trying to figure out what song that is.
Pick one that you like, that puts a smile on your face and be done with it. Put it to rest. This is definitely not worth losing sleep over.

my bridal party walked into cannon in d. I came into somewhere over the rainbow (IZ) and after we were pronounced we walked out to bittersweet symphony instrumental version. Everyone is still raving about the song choices. I was so nervous for a month with the song choice I walked into where I almost chickened out a few days before the wedding and changed it to the traditional march. but it all worked out in the end. The DJ knows how to work everything in.
