im having serious second thoughts

So we ordered the BM dresses the other day, and now i am second guessing the color of black... originally my colors were tiffany blue, silver and ivory....

is it really terrible for a June wedding to have black BM dresses? do you think if i call BR and ask them to change the color they will be able to???

PLEASE HELP!!!!

is the only thing that's making you freak the fact that it's a june wedding?

i LOVE black BM dresses - i think they're so elegant and timeless. regardless of the season!

have you just always envisioned your girls in a different color?

i think blk works year round. Its elegant at all tiem and is something they may be able to wear again!

I agree. Black BM dresses look great at any time of the year. We are doing black BM dresses for our May.

Black looks great on everybody and it's always chic. More likely you can wear the dress again too

My bm dresses are a platinum gray color and I will brighten it up with purple bouqets

agree with everybody, black is a sophisticated color for clothing, maybe ur BMs can use accesories that match the color scheme of the wedding, which I believe is tiffany bkue?

yup we want to do a tiffany blue color scheme... im thinking with the flowers, and the guys vests and ties in the blue it will look great!! My mother on the other hand hung up on me when i told her the dresses were black...

the fact that its in June is really bothering me... i had always pictured the girls in the tiffany blue, but when i decided on the dress that i fell in love with, the blue didnt match what i was going for so i opted for the black...

this is driving me CRAZZYYY!!!

I actually went looking for BM dresses this past weekend, and I found a dress I liked for my girls and it just so happened that I tried it on in Black. Black is very elegant, classy, and above all else, its FLATTERING!!! That's my main concern, as my BMs are all different shapes and sizes...BUT, this being said, in my opinion, black is not appropriate for a wedding. I can totally see why people like it, or even love it, but it's not for me...

If you are wanting to go with dark because its flattering, you can always choose mocha or maybe even a midnight blue. I am ok with guests wearing black (again, its most flattering), but I am not ok with BMs in black.

Tiffany blue is beautiful as well, and definitely seasonally appropriate...I'm sure whatever you choose, it will be gorgeous

my gf is getting married in june with black dresses I think there classy and go with everything!

if it bothers you try to jazz it up with the flowers and have them bright!

whatever you decide is gonna be great! go with your gut!

I like black dresses and it's easy to accent any color you want with black. BUT if you really aren't going to be happy with the black dresses I would call BR tomorrow morning and see if they can change the order before it's too late. Go with what will make you the happiest!

It really hurts me when someone is having second thoughts especially bc u are thinkin of the Summer season!!
dont base ur wedding on the season... DO WHAT YOU WANT!

Go with your gut feeling - however, unfortunately - Moms are usually right....I wore tiffany blue for my cousin's wedding in august - initially looking at the dresses and the color - all my sister and I did was make fun of it....when we were all together and the accents came together - it looked really pretty.....

Crashing.....I'm getting married in mid July and my girls will be in a black dress with pink flowers. My colors are black, white and pink. My mom didn't like the black dresses either until she saw my girls in them and then her opinion changed. Good luck with your decision, but in my opinion black dresses can go with any season.

I really LOVE the black especially for the dress i chose for the girls... i know everyone will look AMAZING in it, i just seem to freak out whenever my mom says she doesnt like something.... i know its my wedding and i really do LOVE the black.. i guess i was just questioning it b.c my mom blew a gasket when she heard....

i did the same thing!!!!!! i really wanted black dresses with red sash and the dress we picked didny come in the red that i needed. so we did all black. well within the next 24hrs i had all these things going through my head.....

neadless to say everything worked out fine and everything looked amazing. i had bright red flowers and everything popped!

as for black in the summer, i think you can wear black anytime of year. and the girls can always wear the dress again!

and as for your mom, shes always gunna have something to say, and its gunna run over in your mind. it happens to all of us. if you like it, its all that matters!
