Jeanine, maybe something similar to the one I have would go well with your e-ring. It's a Scott Kay, if that helps!!

For some reason, I can't upload ap ic of my ring..it keeps saying unrecognizable format...
Anyway, its a 3 stone princess cut...every band i try on w/it, looks like crap....
I dunno what to do

did you go back to the jeweler that fh bought your ring from? you setting may have a matching band. that is a pretty popular style...maybe try Elsa's to get something hand made.

there is also the Clay Pot in Park Slope (may be a lil pricey, but I am not sure how much you guys are looking to spend) but they make custom bands as well.

we went back to the jewler-they switched owners n i really dont trust the new guy..he said they would have to take my e ring for 3 weeks..which is absurd!!!!!!

Yay OK...he could turn coal to a diamond in 3 weeks!

you need something smaller and thinner, so that is sits under your center stone, and lays flush. here is my ering, it actually have 5 stones (one center, 2 small stones on each side) and the setting is antique...

I ended up going with this ring...it's small enough to sit flush, but has some detail, so it doesn't look out of place next to my ering...

Hey Jeanine - I am having a hard time deciding too. I just went to Fortuneoff and tried on a bunch of different styles because I was having a hard time finding one that I loved with my e ring. But I saw a few there that looked good. Good luck!!

Maybe contact Scott Kay and ask them if there is another store in the area that carries the ring? There has to be more than one!!

I don't have a pic but it is a radiant cut solitaire setting. I think I understand - that they don't fit right , because mine didn't sit flush with anything.

I had to have them raise the setting so now the diamond sits higher.

Honestly, my rings still won't sit perfectly flush, but it doesn't bother me. As long as the rings compliment eachother...or if you're going to wear them separately, you coulld get watever you like.

J-

If you can't find the ring, bring a pic of it to a jeweler (such as Elsa's or if you want,. my jeweler in the city) and see how much it would be for them to make it for you.

Have you thought about a ring with a slight curve in it? I found one at Fortunoff that I fell in love with - it's slightly curved, has diamonds going about halfway around, and the band's engraved so it looks really delicate. The setting's also pretty low so it sits really nicely against my ring. Not an exact fit, but quite complementary. I posted pics awhile back if you're interested. Good luck!
