Oheka Castle! FH is in a wedding tonight and I'm SO excited to gawk at the gorgeousness. I'll be keeping my eye out for little details all night so if anyone has a ? I'd be happy to let you know how they handled everything.

Please let me know everything!!! i am getting married there and have never been to a wedding there! also let me know: 1. if the band had a stage? and 2. if the dessert room stopped everyone from dancing and partying (if it was a big dance crowd)? I am debating on having both of these.

my mom and fh wanted to go there and im like ya ok we cannot afford that place and they are like are u sure im like umm ya i am..lol

Sorry for the delay... Oheka was beautiful! I really liked that the decor is not overpowering. Couples have so much freedom to decorate however they please because it is beautiful and spacious without a lot of extra furniture, etc.

Food was good and dessert was great without taking away from the dancing. There wasn't a place to sit in the dessert room so no one stayed in there once they had filled their plates. The band was not on a stage.

Our hotel room was not as large as I had expected but the bathroom made up for it. (I took a jacuzzi bath at 2am because I was NOT about to give up the opportunity to bathe in a castle while I had the chance haha.) They had a snack basket for us in addition to the welcome basket the couple gave us.

Breakfast was nice but nothing crazy.

As far as cost... yikes I don't even want to know. They booked only 5 or 6 months in advance, for a Thursday right before New Years Eve. I'm sure they got a 'deal'. In the past I have heard numbers thrown out for site fee as well as price per plate but I don't know if those figures have been exaggerated. Without knowing those actual numbers I'm not going to compare what it was worth to what it actually cost.
