Im heading to Burtons tonite! Updated 6/9-I found one!(w/pics)
Ok girls, tonite is the 2nd time I am looking at dresses. Last time it was an ok experience so hopefully this one will be better. I need to get the ball rolling since the days are going by faster and faster and I have NO dress!
I'll let you know how it goes and if I end up finding the 'one'. I hope Im in a decent mood since today Im PMSING and the heat aint helping!
ETA: Davinci Dress The picture dosent do it justice. Much prettier in person! (minus the gloves)
I hope that you find something My cousin got married last weekend she got her dress there she look beautiful and if fit GREAT!

Here are the directions: Its located on 426 Old Walt Whitman Rd. Melville. You take Rte 110 head north and turn left onto Old Walt Whitman Rd (or right,depending from what direction you are coming from).

dont expect anything fancy- its a no frills kind of joint- and very small.
have fun!!!! oh and bring a bra if you want to get a full effect.

they had no bra and a sh*tty slip... that was in january- maybe they changed it- who knows -
no frills to the max!

Im sorry you had a bad experience. Im going to look but I dont like that I have to BMO BRA! So weird! Well, I'll still check it out.

It looks scary when you go there.. its a house. It is most def no frills. Very small inside.
BUT carole is awesome and she has been a savior so far.

Have fun, and good luck! I know what you mean about not liking bringing your own bra. Lillette's had everything for me there (slip, corset/bra) and I really felt like I looked good, or at least somewhat passable in most dresses. At the Wedding Plaza, all they had was a crappy slip and no bra, and everything looked HORRIBLE. So do keep that in mind when you are trying things on. The undergarments make all the difference!!
