I'M HUNGRY

I'M HUNGRY

I'm trying to eat healthier and I really don't know how to do that. So I sit at work with nothing to eat and then go home and I'm so hungry that all I want is JUNK!
What are some good snacks to munch on throughout the day and what do you guys eat for dinner? I know it shouldn't be that hard for me to figure out what healthy foods are out there but all I see in my head are cheeseburgers and candy!

Orville Redenbacher makes single serve mini popcorn bags that are approx 100 calories.

I eat these around the 3 o clock lull in the office.

you could try bringing in chopped carrot sticks or yogurt

I Take 94% fat free popcorn and put a little bit of grated cheese and garlic, its soo yummy and it takes a long time to eat so it keeps you satisfied!

See that sounds really good. I need to start cooking again. I just always feel like every meal takes so many ingredients and then I end up not wanting to go buy every single one for that 1 dish. But I guess there are a lot of different easy ways I can make chicken!

Special K has really good snack bars. I hate health food but they have these strawberry ones with icing. Target has then on sale all the time for like $2 a box. They are a great snack. YUM!

I also eat Polly-o string cheese!

I bring unsalted almonds to work to snack on. They are extremely heart healthy and high in fiber so a few of those and it fills you up. I had some before lunch today and I wasn't hungry for lunch so it made me eat less.

I love Chicken Balsamic for dinner. Made it last night. Very easy. Chicken cutlets in a skillet with cooking spray, garlic. Brown the chicken, add 2 tbs of balsamic vinegar and 1 cup of chicken broth, some thyme and simmer for about 10 mins. Delicious over brown rice. Pour the sauce on top of the rice. My FH LOVES IT!!! (change the amounts depending on how many chicken cutlets are in the skillet). Sooooo easy to make too!!!

Also I go onto Jenny Craig's website, (im not a member though) but you can get all of their recipes!!!!!!!!! I took the Balsamic Chicken from there.
