FH and I have been talking about it. Based on the posts on BHB, it seems that more MOBS than BPs are making showers for their daughters. While this would present my mother with something to do, she requires a lot of assistance and could NEVER do a shower alone. She is disabled and is not always focused on things - it has been a rough year on her physically and emotionally (emotionally for my entire family). The question now is do I get ballsy and ask my BP what their intentions are because Mom and FMIL have asked whats going on or do I leave well enough alone and hope that someone does something. I hate being a seemingly greedy person.

I don't think you are being greedy at all!! Get that thought out of your head. I think it's completely natural to wonder if your getting a shower. 99% of brides do get them now. I think you can come out and ask, but not so that you're pressing anyone for answers. Maybe innocently ask if something is being planned, becuase you'd like to make sure so-and-so is invited and you weren't sure your MOH had their address.

At this point in time, you need to just ask what the heck is going on, or schedule lunch with your MOH and hand her the guest list. Your day is rapidly approaching, and it is making you too crazy to just keep sitting back waiting for them or FH to do something. Take the bull by the horns, and say something!!
