I'm in love!!
with FLORALS in Roslyn!
OMG was Shaun AMAZING! what a visionary! My RH comes with rose centerpieces, and being that I am a budget bride I was like I'll take the free roses and then do minimal things for boquets etc... in the meanwhile I won a free bridal boquet from Florals in Roslyn at a bridal showcase, so I decided to check it out.
I am ready to walk away from the free centerpieces because Shaun @ Florals was so amazing. He is an event designer and florist from NYC and has just relocated to Roslyn with his partner to start breaking into the Long Island bridal scene. If you have not booked your florist yet, check them out!! I have a second meeting with them on the 22nd to see what designs he's come up with and to go over pricing. He is basically going to help with all the candles I thought I was going to have to buy and have someone set up, and the drapes to decorate the chapel, he even said that he stays until the reception starts to make sure the candles and lighting are right. He uses material from the bride's dress when they alter it to wrap the bride's boquet and he matches the color and material of the groom and groomsmens tux's so that you don't see the stem on their color. He's basically a DOC who is handling the decor and florals, this is by far the vendor I was least excited about, and now I am the most excited!!!
Sorry for the long post but I had to get it out! Even FH was in love with him haha! OH AND he sent me home with some beautiful flower samples..
