So, with 30 days to go, the dress place where my FMIL ordered her dress just told her the dress is 'lost' and that she might need to go to a plan B which is to find a dress that is in stock for immediate shipment.
She is thinking of going to the city to shop. Any ideas of where she can go and get a MOG dress in enough time??!?!?!?!

my fmil bought her dress off the rack in a bridal shop on great neck road in great neck across from waldbaums shopping center.
They are altering it for her as we speak.
I have been looking for dresses for the upcoming weddings we have to attend in the city and I haven't been lucky. I went to Macys herald sq bloomingdales, saks, loehmans BLAH nothing.
Although, I was in Nordtroms and Bloomies in roosevelt field yesterday and found that they are having 80% off today if that helps....almost forgot about that

Totally You in Wantagh on Merrick Rd my mama had a TON of luck there and she took the dress home the same day!!!

That s*cks! They aren't willing to contact the manufacturer and have a new dress express shipped to them? Maybe try Lord & Taylor or Nordstrom? Sorry, I dont know any good stores in the city for a MOG dress.
ETA: My mom got her dress at Omnibus in Babylon. They were very helpful and had a nice selection.

Grace Charles in Lynbrook. My mom ordered her dress LAST week.... And it will be in on time.

Pzaz has a MOG/MOB section where my MIL got her gown (pics in my album) also Estelles in Farmingdale has MOG/MOB gowns in all sizes and manufacturers including Montage, Mon Cheri, etc. HTH

Omnibus Fashions on Main St. in Babylon Village. My MIL got her dress there and took it home the same day! They have lots!
