My parents came all the way into the city from WAY out east for FI's NYPD graduation this morning and it's not untill NEXT week!! I thought I told them that they date changed but I guess I messed up! Not only did my Dad take off from work, which he NEVER does for ANY reason but he hates the city AND the train and now he's gonna dissown me!! OMG I feel HORRIBLE...I cant imagine that he's going to take off again next week for the real graduation... I feel like im 12 again & Im gonna have to listen to him yell at me later on when I go to their house. ugh Im so screwed...

Im such a RETARD!! I swear im not usually this scatterbrained.
I guess I've just had too much on my plate these days & got confused!! Or at least thats the story Im gonna stick to and hope they believe it!

It's OK, being a bride REALLY plays with your brain. I missed a very important doctor's appt because I was SURE I checked it in my datebook and saw that it was Friday at 1pm. It was Thursday at 4pm. I don't know how I ever did that. But the receptionist, when she heard I was getting married in a few weeks, said, 'It's fine, I get it, no problem.'
Send your parents some flowers with an apologetic note. Or something else like one of those Edible Bouquet things if they'd appreciate it more.
