I'm inviting the Judge

I'm inviting the Judge

An earlier post I wrote that I wasn't sure if I was going to invite the Judge and his wife to the reception. But thanks to all your helpful advice, I decided to send an invite. I approached my fiance like it was my idea and not coming from my Aunt. I just said it would be the right thing to do. There were no problems, he said sure.

Thanks for all your help.

Idea... Instead of writing lines for guests to write their names on, what if it was just a blank page for guests to write where ever...kinda like a collage. This way, there won't be blank lines at the end or not enough lines. Although, it's not as formal. I will still have "OUR GUESTS" written on the top of the page and a matching reminder card that says "Hey, sign this..." (or something).

Glad it worked out! :o)

i had never thought about a guest book before, but i like the idea! having been to very few weddings, i'm quite ignorant about some things.. like where do you put the guest book out? on the table with the seating cards? or on another table in the reception room??? we are having our ceremony and reception at the same place and when i visited to see what the rooms look like all set up for a wedding, i noticed that in the lobby they set out all the seating cards on a table before the banquet room entrance. but i didn't see a guest book there.. of course, maybe the couple didn't have one that night. i don't know.. now that i have officially booked all the big vendors, i can think about these littler things. happy planning!!! -leighann

I have been to this board several times, and although I got a few good tips, it is basically a total waste of time. I don't need to be involved in a bunch of stressed-out bride's ridiculous last-word contests. It is so evident that many of you bridzillas are very competitive and just interested in one-upping others for the purpose of making you feel like the best and smartest and prettiest bride in the world.
