FH's mom is telling him that he can't invite certain family members cause they don't get along with everyone.... or she doesn't speak with them. And she says if we invite her sister (who she doesn't speak with) that she may not be able to go. Just FYI, her sister didn't do anything wrong. When my FMIL's other son got married in Arizona she wiuldn't go out there for the wedding. So his Aunt/Her sister stepped in on her behalf for the fance and other duties my FMIL would have peformed since he has no godparents.
I mean it's his family.. I don't think any of them would cause trouble on our special day.. we wouldn't seat any of them near eachother. I personally think he needs to speak with these members of his family about the wedding and that 'everyone' is being invited. I would think they could all just ignore eachother & smile for a few hours....
I'm just worried but taking some of these people off the list that we may not be able to make our minimum cause this would cause us to take a good 15-20 people off.

I would honestly let your FH handle this since it is his family history. If he wants them off the list, then they should come off. If he's ok with them coming, then invite them. If your FMIL throws a fit, tell her to take it up her son.

Re: I'm just frustrated over this
i agree. it depends what FH wants... if he doesnt came about his mom being there then fine but thats a tough call. we are having the same problem but its only with extended family so they all not come for all i care. lol. its tough cuase of the mom. I totally agree they should suck it up, but id let FH decide who is more important to be there. Adults act more like children then kids half the time. Stay calm, i have a feeling it will work itself out, people like to cuase problems in the begining

Everyone should be invited... they need to realize that it is YOUR day.. not theirs.. and they need to suck it up and smile and not ruin your day with none sense. Aren't these people a little old to not get along?? Life is too short!
Invite all, let them know that you invited everyone and then if THEY decide they are not coming.. oh well, their loss.
