Im learning

So as Ive mentioned before, I havent always thought about my wedding. This site and helped me ALOT! It has explained things that confused me and told me things I didnt know.

Here is my newest question.
I see you all talking about these adorable ideas of asking your bridal party...... is this necessary? Should I not just ask them? What are the standards?

I just sat them down, gave them a drink and asked them to be in my Bridal Party. And warned them that its going to be crazy lol. I would've done the cute cards and cookies, but its really not my style. Or my BP's style either come to think of it.

You can do it whatever way works for you. Before I got on the site I picked out some cards and give it to them, and some of them I just asked. But there are a lot of creative ways to ask them...if I could do it over I would use one of the things I saw on the site.

Its def not necessary...plenty of girls just simply ask them to be in their bridal party.

I just thought it would be cute to send them a little card with a little poem asking them to be my bridesmaids....but you don't have to feel obligated to do anything like this.

i made cards for them and got them gifts.... pics are in my album.. HOWEVER... totally not necessary... this site has its goods and bads, it can definitely get you crazy with all the creative ideas and add ons but you dont have to do everything! you will go crazy!

i never ever thought bout my wedding day growing up either! this site is helpful.!

i wouldnt ask some1 to be your BM over an instant message or email..........

but u dont have to go all out, either.

i think a cookie is a cute touch. maybe over dinner or drinks?(b4 u guys get plastered )

its really up to you. i have been in three weddings. my brother & SIL didn't make a big deal of out asking me sister & i. my cousin just told everyone & my friend asked each bridesmaid individually you.

i made picture frames & gave them to my bridesmaids. i also gave them 'will you be my bridesmaid' cards.

Yea you def dont have to do anything special its whatever you want....I got handmade cards made up from a women on ebay it was cheap too and they were personalized....I actually have to write them out this week since I haven't even givin them out yet!

I just asked them - and my MOH already knew she was my MOH! You know - I didnt even think of doing something cute - and I feel horrible - but all of the girls know how much I care about them, so to me, that is what is important...

theres def no need to get all crazy... but i did! lol i got cards created for them, i guess it depends on your personality, budget, and free time haha but i dont think anyone BMs expect it so no worries if you didnt or dont want to do that

You can do whatever you like, you know your friends so you can do whatever makes you more comfortable. I am going to put together a gift basket for my girls.
