Been a crazy, busy time. We got back from the honeymoon on Monday, after a very long trip due to a lot of delays. The Sandals Grande on St Lucia was amazing, we had the best, most relaxing honeymoon. I still haven't downloaded my honeymoon photos from my camera, nor gotten my husband's photos. (It's still a trip to call him 'my husband.') I hope to write a wedding review this weekend, but for now here's a few pictures.

Thank you! My mom made that cake, BTW. We did get a cake with the reception package, but I had the Black Forest Bakery make us a cupcake tower instead, as I wanted my mom to make the same cheesecake she made for my sister's wedding. It's from the old Martha Stewart 'Weddings' book. She did all the decoration, too. It was a beautiful and extremely tasty cake--everyone loved the fact that there was cheesecake! (And there were three kinds of cupcakes and a chocolate and strawberry groom's cake, too.)

I was a little unsure about a tan suit at first, but I think it worked really well for an afternoon summer wedding. Just wish he had gotten it tailored a bit more, he's a weightlifter with huge shoulders, but his waist isn't anywhere near how big it looks in some of the pictures. Oh well! He looked very handsome anyway. Even now I have a stupid grin on my face thinking about it.
And good luck with Timber Point. I'll post my review soon, but I loved having my wedding there, they were great. It's a beautiful space, and the staff is wonderful. And the food is very tasty, not that I ate all that much, I was too excited. I didn't want to be one of those brides who didn't eat at her own wedding, but now I know how it happens.
