I'M MARRIED!!! APRIL 26 HAS COME & GONE :( (Long review)

Hi girls!!! I am finally a Mrs... after 2 years of planning, and the last 12 months of stress/fun/and excitement.... like you hear from everyone else... it goes by so fast. I can't even begin to tell you how fast the day went.... the night before, the day of and the entire honeymoon are already over, it's back to work tomorrow... and I HATE IT!!!! I want to do it again :( We had an amazing day... the weather of course SUCKED!!! It poured... thank god that it cleared up later at night, so we were able to take some pictures and videos outside on the beautiful grounds, but it doesn't compare to what it would have been like had it been sunny... but what can you do.. now we will have a story to tell our kids...'on our day, it poured!'.... we of course had some gliches... the rain, the girl who was scheduled to do my hair got a flat and was an hour late... but they did my makeup for free and it really didn't delay anything... I stayed pretty sane!! Everything was amazing.... my HUSBAND (so strange to say!!) had my BM bring me flowers and a card.... I had given my brother a card to give him the night before :) So here's my breakdown of reviews... I can't believe I'm the one doing it!!!

Rehearsal dinner - Southampton Publick House... food was great, there was plenty of room and not too noisy. Everyone had a great time!

Ceremony - Sacred Hearts in Southampton... what a beautiful church! This was the church I went to throughout my childhood so of course I wanted to get married there... it was filled with beautiful flowers from Easter (so that saved us some money!)... and thank god we got married in such a beautiful church because it was the backdrop for most of my wedding pictures because of the weather. Deacon Steve Kramer from Blue Point did our ceremony...he is amazing. He has got to be one of the nicest people I know. He is so down to earth, and made the ceremony so personal. Everyone complimented on what a great job he did. I didn't want it to be a very 'religious' ceremony where the people were 'bored', and he did an amazing job of keeping it very family like and intimate.

Reception - East Wind Country Gardens... AMAZING! I have nothing bad to say! The food was unbelievable.. I haven't stopped getting compliments! The setting was beautiful, they stayed on top of EVERYTHING... everyone loved being offered seconds! They set everything up exactly the way I wanted. The bridal attendant and the maitre'd were always helpful and made sure everything was okay with the two of us throughout the night. Anyone who is getting married here will be so happy they booked them...I know some people had some negative things to say, but I have absolutely no complaints...I just wish I could have ate more food but I was so busy having fun!!

Cake - My bridesmaid Heather...OH MY GOD... what a work of art... I posted a picture of it before the wedding but it was beautiful!! It definitely was a conversation piece at the reception...no one could get over how amazing it was. Her and her mother truly are two of the most amazing cake designers I've ever seen...they put some highly priced cake people to shame!!! Martha Steward should do a spread on their work!!!! I owe them so much for all the time and effort they put into it...

Hair & Makeup - Giovanni Salon in Manorville...I had Courtney, she is amazing at updo's....and I wasn't going to have my makeup done, but I had her do my eyes and lips...I felt more comfortable doing my own foundation since I wear makeup everyday also one of the biggest pain in the butt thing that happened... MY SKIN BROKE OUT!!! The night before, I could have cried... hopefully the pictures won't show it!!

Flowers - Shoreham Florist... I don't think many brides use them or have even heard of them, but they did an AMAZING job... the flowers were so gorgeous, and they were really inexpensive!! Compared to what some other girls spend I really did a good job! They were delivered on time, and everyone loved their flowers...

Limo - NJL Limos... they were great! We had the Excursion limo which was so much fun! The driver showed up early enough, and stayed with us till his contracted time. The driver was super nice and he helped me as much as he could get in and out of the car with umbrellas, etc... he was the one who fluffed out my train before walking down the aisle... definitely use this company, they were inexpensive and great!

Photographer - ADA Studios... I know I've heard bad reviews from others on this board, but those that do have them booked, I thought they were great! Of course I haven't seen the finished product, but as for that day, I couldn't have asked for more! We had Big John and he had an assistant with him, she was so nice! He is so easy to get along with, a great sense of humor and he stayed on top of things when I got a little hectic! They did all the shots I asked for, and they were really helpful throughout the night.

Videographer - Bellarino Productions... Love these two! They are so great! Like everyone else has said, you hardly knew they were there! They were always there getting the shot you wanted, and like the photographer, they really helped us get whatever we could get after the rain had stopped... I owe Phil a lot for helping us make something out of the beautiful grounds!

Night of wedding - Wyndham Wind Watch....what an amazing room...too bad we only got to stay in it for about 2 hours!!!! It ****ed SOOO BAD to get up at 4:30 in the morning to go to the airport...

Honeymoon - Grand Princess Cruise to Western Caribbean.... WHY AM I HOME ALREADY??? This trip was absolutely amazing, and definitely a HONEYMOON. We had such a great time... frozen drinks, laying out in the sun, sitting on our balcony overlooking the ocean, dinners were like a five star restaurant, comedians, casino, dancing... HEAVEN! My husband won $250 on the last night of the trip in the casino it was great!! We went to Princess Cays (private island in the Bahamas), Costa Maya, Grand Cayman and Cozumel... they were all great.. the weather was like 85+ all week, no rain, we were able to stop at all the ports. It could not have been a better time, I highly recommend this cruise ship for those thinking of going on one. We flew roundtrip on Jet Blue...what a great flight! Definitely would not travel on any other plane unless I had to... they are so nice, they asked if it was anyone's birthday etc... told them it was our honeymoon and they kept coming over to us and asking us if we wanted anything else! They were so cute! Also had balloons on door on cruise that said Just Married, nice touch :)

Obviously I will attach a ton of pictures which I'm sure I will add to as I get more in... again, I just can't believe everything is over... I did so much planning, and although it's a sigh of relief, it's also sad....the last dance was 'Time of your life' by Green Day, and it turned out that everyone just watched us like the first dance and that's when I really started to get upset because i knew that it was over....I had so much fun planning the wedding, and so much fun talking to all of you girls on here... without all your help and suggestions, my wedding would not have been the same...I owe you girls a ton!!!
