I'M MARRIED! [mini-review]
my day was absolutely fabulous! i am so thankful the weather held up. i just wanted to give a quick review since i know things will be chaotic around here.. I'm going to be honest because that's what this site is for.. so take it for what it is, an honest review.
The Riviera - A+++
Michelle was absolutely fabulous! We've spent hours with her over the months before the wedding and she worked her a$$ off last night making sure i had everything i wanted/needed. Megan was my attendant and she was so fabulous i wanted to take her home. They went above and beyond and I have heard nothing but compliments! I love you ladies! PS - Happy Birthday <3
Pastor April - A+++
Such a sweetheart! Our ceremony was beautiful. Not to mention she has the patience of a saint!
Camelot - A+
Joe was fabulous. I was so happy to see him on our day! Our limos arrived on time and everything was amazing. I hope you had as great of a time as you anticipated! We got stuck in traffic on our way to the ceremony and we went 30 mins longer than our time and it wasn't even an issue for him. ALL of the drivers were fabulous. Thanks so much!

I'm going to have to break this review into two parts. Over the past year and a half, we have spent hours and hours just talking with John. He is an amazing person and I couldn't have been happier than to see him on my wedding day. I feel like I have known him forever..
Flowers - B-
oh my gosh. i had nothing but confidence with them for my flowers and they were just all wrong the day of. Beautiful.. but not entirely what I asked for. First things first.. the only flowers that were to be at my wedding were sunflowers, circus roses, and black magic roses. Tell me why there was tons of peach roses everywhere?! I don't get it. I swear all the black magic roses were red roses. It was very disappointing. I was supposed to have those whispy willow branches in my centerpieces and there were none. So sad. I know it's something noone but I would notice.. but it's just still so so so disappointing. and not like my sample. However, the bouquets were beautiful and everyone loved them.
Tim's Florist - F
I met with them for flowers for the cocktail hour. I met with Susan who was stand-offish, cranky and rushed us out. My order was for 11 vases of red roses.. what did I get? One floating gerbera daisy per table.. despite the fact that she suggested gerberas and I told her I absolutely hate them. Some had floating a floating red rose, which obviously, doesn't float well. So infuriating.
Linen Creations - A
Everything looked great. Ada was great to deal with. I think the chair covers and chargers were amazing!
Jenn the Hair Genie - A+++
She was such a sweetheart and I LOVED having her around the day of. She works wonders and just feel like I've known her forever.
Oksana - A
She did an absolutely fabulous job on my makeup. She's an artist and I love what she does.. however, I don't appreciate her abrasiveness, especially not on my wedding day. I understand you have a job to do.. but it's just completely uncalled for. :::shrugs:::
Vintage String Quartet - A+++
They made my wedding everything I've been dreaming about forever! They were great to deal with and I would highly recommend them.
Starlight Express - A+
Vinny was great! The percussionist was amazing. The guests had a blast and everything went so smoothly. The dancefloor always had people on it!
La Rosa Cuban Cigars - A+++
They were amazing. Professional, on time, friendly, and a complete hit. Definitely a fabulous touch!!
Thomas Knoell - A+++
I went in there with literally like 10 days until the wedding. He helped me find the most beautiful earrings and had no problems getting them to me in time for the wedding. Beautiful!
and last but not least.. our photographers!
Lauri and Katie - Formally Tangerine Photography - A+++++++++++++++++++
These two ladies were absolutely amazing. I absolutely cannot wait to see my pictures! They paid attention to every detail, and everywhere I was, they were. I swear I have had more compliments about them and how great they were, than anything else. They were great sports and listened to any requests I made. They were fun, professional and worked like an entire 12 hour day with like a ten minute break. Amazing!
It's true that these things don't matter on the day of. I had an amazing time and nothing stood in my way of having a good time. Hopefully soon I'll have some pictures to post!
