I'm married! With some non-pro pics!
Hi girls,
I’m home from my amazing wedding! I’ll write a real review later, but this is just a quick post while I have the time.
I can’t begin to express how wonderful the day was. The weather was a little chilly (outdoor pics were definitely a challenge at times with the wind) but the sun was shining the whole day. Here’s a quick recap of my vendors:
Steve and the Woodlands: Wonderful! The place was beautiful and the food was fantastic! There was one little thing where some staff was being a little noisy behind the curtain during the ceremony, but SIL took care of them with a firm ‘Shhh!’. Other than that, everything ran smoothly.
Michelle and Hidden Essence: FABULOUS. The flowers were exactly what I wanted, even when I couldn’t express what I wanted. The bo-ks, CP’s, cake flowers, chuppah, etc were PERFECT. And her prices are so reasonable; it looks like we spent way more than we did. People were fighting over CPs! She also did an awesome job incorporating my grandfathers’ pictures and c’hai and Jewish star pendants.
Phil and After Hours DJ: I can’t say enough good things about Phil. He and DJ James were awesome. He is so full of energy, and so sweet, I am sad that I won’t get to see him again! Phil was out on the floor dancing and jumping around with the guests, making everyone feel so comfortable. I’m serious, I want to be friends with him and hang out. I was dancing the whole time, and I NEVER dance. Also, the string trio through After Hours was wonderful. When I heard them switch to Canon in D, I almost lost it.
Mike and Inifinite Video: Another one that I want to be friends with. He was so friendly and easy to work with. He made sure to get some great shots, and the trailer is SPECTACULAR. Luckily I’ll get to see him again next weekend at my best friend’s wedding![]()
Chuck and Artisan Photo Group: Again, super great guy and so good to work with. He made me feel like a star. MIL actually complemented how good he was, and that is really something! I can’t wait to see the proofs.
Rabbi Roger Ross – We found him through LIW, and he was awesome. He worked so well with DH’s Pastor, and the ceremony was amazing. People kept saying how great it was, and were surprised when we said they didn’t know each other before Saturday!
Mya from Cosmetic Artistry: LOVED my hair. She also did an amazing job on my MOH, BMs and mom (and my mom is very picky with her hair).
Kelly from Glam Me Up: Again, LOVED my makeup, as did my MOH, and BMs, and picky mom ? I felt so beautiful!
That’s all for now! We’re finalizing our HM (yes, we’re behind, but I have my best friend’s wedding next weekend so it works out), and will likely be going to Puerto Rico! Here are some non-pro pics…
