Im nervous. so stupid

I know this is so stupid but Im nervous to meet our minister for our appointment to discuss our ceremony. I havent met him yet, lol.

This is retarded but I think me and him are gonna freeze if he asks 'so why are you guys getting married?'. Its like an interview where you are really qualified but no matter what you say sounds like BS. I dont want him to think we are bsing him, lol. Ahhh

I was nervous too. I met with a few churches and honestly they made us feel pretty comfortable right away. Don't panic. That was not one of the first questions I had. It could be different but overall they were pretty good experiences.

I was nervous meeting the Deacon... we argued over who was going to ring the bell to the rectory! LOL

It's so irrational, but I was SO nervous, too. Especially because FH and I both chose not to use our churches- we figured it would be fairer to both sides if we went somewhere neutral. I thought he'd interrogate us as to why we didn't want to get married in our own churches. He didn't even ask- he said that's our own personal decision. The only thing he asked that made me squirm a little was if we lived together. I felt wrong saying yes, but I also felt wrong lying. LOL!

It's normal to be nervous. I think we all think that the priest could always turn around and say- 'you know what, I'm not allowing you two to get married'-but everything will be fine

Thanks guys!!! Also, I posted the other day that I have no clue what to call him. He's a minister/reverend and his secretary referred to him as Revered Paul Johnson but when he calls me, he says Its Paul Johnson. I have avoided calling him anything at all, lol. Oy...i think i will just have to ask him what he would like to be called.

Now, this feels real though since everything else has been reception related and now this is like wowwww, we are getting married! so excited! its not just a wedding, afterall, lol.
