Hi all! I have been reading the board for a couple of weeks, and decided to finally log in and start posting - BUT - I open my email today and I have 15 emails from vendors about their services - does this happen every day now that I gave my email address out??
How can I stop it?

Welcome! If you don't want vendor emails there is a box you can click in your account info to stop them from coming I believe. If that doesn't work, FM one of the moderators and they should be able to help you
ETA: You could also just supply a bogus email address

Yes, I could change it to my 'other' email address... I tried unchecking some box. Hopefully that works. Thank you

Also, I wouldn't put down your phone number either..I got some weird calls from vendors at first..It stopped after I put 'no calls please' in the phone section..just a suggestion

That's what happened to me when I first signed up, and it kept me away from this site for a while! But just keep dumping them into spam and they will stop... this site is so worth it! I was a 'deadbeat' bride before this site.. I had no idea what I was doing, how to do it or when, this site helps alot. There are alot of great ladies on here that are FULL of ideas, help and support...

I know, I booked my band (TSO - Times Square Orchestra), my photog (Verdi) and my officiant (Dr. Janice Burns) because of reviews on this website. I also avoided some vendors.
I am sure I will be using the site more now that I am officially a 'poster'!
