I'm new here! After 3 years, FINALLY got engaged!

Hi everyone!

i'm so excited to finally be joining you - my fiance proposed to be two days ago after three years of dating!

we're planning a small wedding as our budget is small, but i'm so excited to be able to plan with you ladies!

i'm just so excited!!

thank you very very very much!! i really look forward to talking with all of you!

we live in the city together (we just moved in together in September) and after i got home from work on Wednesday, he had the apartment all set up with flowers everywhere and a home cooked meal - my favorite, filet mignon and mashed potatoes! and he was dressed in a suit and he proposed!

i was hoping it would happen soon, but i certainly did not know it would happen Wednesday! I thought he was going to wait until June so it was a nice surprise!

Congrats and welcome! Take some time to just enjoy being engaged before you jump into the wedding planning. Wedding planning will still be here... but that floating-on-air, newly engaged feeling doesn't last forever!

When you're ready to start looking for a venue, let us know what you're looking for and I'm sure we'll have plenty of suggestions for you!
