Somehow I got roped into driving my husband to work this morning due to the snow, then it's off for a day of a thousand errands before we leave tomorrow for the airport at 5AM!
Talk with you guys in a little over a week!
ETA: Jet Blue cancelled my flight - my insurance is only for the land package, and can't be credited back to me due to the fact that my airline defaulted on the travel arrangements.
SO, basically, I am sitting here crying. My TA- Leslie- from Travel Solutions is working her butt off for me right now cause I can't think.
ETA: So, we'll get our $$ back from JetBlue, NOT Sandals. So we found a US Air flight out of LaGuardia to Nassau. So, we just booked it and now the TA's are calling me saying that every flight from every airline is being cancelled up and down the East coast, so now we may not even be able to go. So, we're waiting to hear from Sandals reps b/c if every flight is cancelled into Nassau, then something can be arranged for payback, otherwise I lose my $5K I spent.
ETA: Okay, here is the deal and I love Leslie and Margaret from Travel Solutions. They have done so much for me in so little time. We booked a flight for LaGuardia Airport tomorrow morning to goes to Nassau. We are praying that it's NOT cancelled So, please pray for me. If they cancel this flight to Nassau tomorrow - I'm F U C K E D! No money back from Sandals!
And my dreams of a relaxing honeymoon on a warm, sandy beach have vanished into thin air.

Thank you girls. I had an emotionally heart wrenching afternoon and evening. Thank you for letting me vent and cry all over this thread, and thank you to those who fmed me with support and hugs! We're all packed, we're leaving at 4:30am to get to LaGuardia by 6am and let's hope everything goes as planned, but in the scheme of things happening lately, I'm not counting on it.
This is one vacation I will never forget, even if I don't get off the ground.
One thing I can say - I'm fed up with Jet Blue - I will never fly them again if I can help it.

Jet Blue has gotten a lot of bad press lately. They are definitely going to lose a ton of customers due to the many situations like yours.

Thank you, Ivelysse The upside of all of this - makes me extremely thankful I have TA to do the calling and sortings on the phone and internet with Sandals, etc and not me.

I just checked US Air's website and there are flights that have left to the Bahamas so let's hope Betsy & Bob are on one of those planes.
