I'm not making any headway...

...with my packing.

FH and I are moving into our new place on Thursday and with all that I have packed, I feel as if I have twice as much left over and my place now is not that big. I should have had a garage sale! I used to sell Tupperware and I could have made a fortune off the stock in my closet!!! Had to vent - back to packing.

We didnt buy. Too poor from wedding expenses. We are renting in New Hyde Park for a year or two.

Oh! tell me about it LI home prices are out of control. I feel bad for people like us who r just starting out.

Thanks so much! My mom has a 5 bedroom house only one bedroom of which is being used. People are always asking us why we don't live with her. I'd rather struggle. SHE even knows that it wouldnt be good for us. I wish you the best while you are there and hopefully it won't be too long!

same here. he is so against it. he said that we will live w/ his parents until we can afford a home. he promised that we will not live there once we start having kids like his brother did

Be very careful. My sister lived at home til she was 35. I couldnt do it.

i know it is so difficult b/c his parents aren't really thrilled with his selection. they were hoping he would find some nice jewish girl instead he found a young spanish catholic girl

so there is some tension but i try to keep

My pleasure. Here is helpful hint #1 - Everything she cooks is delicious even though it probably has not nearly enough salt in it. I am sure your FH will laugh at that one.

my dad is jewish and hes always complaining that everything needs more salt, i guess my grandmas didnt use enough lol
