I didn't know this (maybe I am the only one), but I found out today that the reason why brides traditionally had bo-k's when getting married is because back in the old days (long, long time ago), when people did not bathe, they used to hold bo-k's so that the flowers would cover up BO. It has been a tradition ever since.

I may be the only one who found that interesting, but I thought I would share...

And that bridesmaids dressed like the bride so she wouldn't be kidnapped!! I read that in a book my FMIL gave me for Christmas about wedding traditions...I think its so interesting

That defintly makes me look at the florist in a new light....maybe the flowers shouldn't be such a stress to me!!

It's true. And also the reason that June is such a populaR month to get married is because most people would take there quarterly baths in May,so they were still pretty fresh in June!!!
