Im not sure what this means...HELP!! UPDATE!!! and a 2nd question!

OMG...I just realized that FH wont be here for our 1st pre-cana session. He had a trip planned for months now and I just made the connection that he will be missing our first session. Has this happened to any of you! Will we not be allowed to attend pre-cana now. I can still go but how embarrassing will it be to go by myself???? HELP!

FH called the Deacon and everything is ok and FH can miss the 1st class. THANK GOD!!

2nd question: I really dont want to miss the 1st class. However, i feel weird about going by myself. Would you go by yourself? This is a class for couples and I think I would feel stupid sitting with a bunch of couples and me by myself. BUT I really dont feel like missing the 1st class. What do you think???

i would call and reschedule- did you book thru your parish or thru the diocese? i don't think you can do it alone- it was a lot of couples work.

FH is calling but I dont think we can reschedule. This might be the last one until after or during the wedding. i am getting married July 4th and my pre-cana is a series of 7 two-hour classes. Oh jeez...this trip for FH will be the end of me!!!

When we did pre cana, one couple missed a session. They were allowed to make it up with one of the married couples.

When we attended our Pre-cana class there was one girl that came by herself. Honestly, I found it so odd that she was all by herself. But then the couple hosting the class explained to the class that her FH was in Jamaica arranging stuff for their wedding and couldnt make it.
Im sure she felt awkward because she had to do activities by herself but in the end she learned so much and enjoyed herself so much that Im sure she didnt care.

if it's one out of 7 i'm pretty sure it happens pretty frequently with couples. let us know what happens when FH calls- if they are willing to work with you... i'm sure it will all work out!!!
