We have the reception place and the church....

I'm looking for a band and a photog./videog.....

Until mom and I have the 'strategy session' I don't want to do too many of the big things.

Any suggestions on the smaller projects I could/should tackle?

Yes, start doing your guest list!!! As early as possible. Remind EVERYONE to get your list to you timely evryday. You would be surprised at how forgetful people could be. Also, let your MOH in on some things you would like done so she doesn't feel like a schmuck!

I am at a stand-still also. I don't want to book everythign yet, I have some time. I got the big things out of the way, now I am waiting.

I am just keeping track of flowers I like, dress colors/types I like for my BM, stuff like that.

You may also want to start organizing your guest list. If you do it now it won't seem as much work. Start getting peoples addresses, full names, etc. Use index cards or a computer program like excel or access to organize it.

I am also slowly collecting songs that I like. I will use these to choose our first dance song, and to make a CD for our guests.

Mostly I just spend a lot of time on LIWeddings.

Sept20yay! I already have the guest list done.

I've picked my MOH (Sept20yay!) and am in the process of picking the rest. I am trying to keep it down to 6 but right now I have 9.

I know what cake I want, what dress for the BP. Just need my dress and the boys tuxes.

Guess I'm looking for the next 'project' I can do.
