.. but I'm so blue, aggravated and sad today.

I simply loathe my job.. its such a bummer to be here (already noted this on the other thread..) We've been having some personal issues with my family (though not with DH, thank goodness) .. Good friend of DH's family passed away, which got us down as well

To top it off, we got into an auto accident yesterday .. and now we hear from our insurance that our Jeep might be totalled

.. yep, it just goes on and on . but i'll stop now

DH tells me its post-wedding blues but honestly I am THILLED that its over and that we are married!

So I dunno, folks. I just feel so 'blech' and cannot drag myself out of it today. Not even that time of the month, in case you are wondering! Its only Monday and I cannot figure out how to deal with this for an entire week ..

YES I know I sound whiny and pathetic and I normally do NOT feel sorry for myself.. SO I'm embarrassed to ask, but really I think this just calls for some hugs from my LIW buddies.

Please?

everyone gets blue sometimes, and it's not alwasy easy to talk about it with friends or even family. Taht's why I'm so glad we have this lovely chat community here on LIW! I'm typically upbeat and happy, but when i get sad, it's like - 'who could possibly understand me when I feel like this??' You always have us for support, never forget that!!

Don't worry about the job .. b and large most people don't like their jobs. (Or at least the people I know. None of my friends are like 'Yippee..I'm going to work!')

You do whatcha gotta do for yourself and DH.

And thank God you and DH are OK.
Seriously.. don't worry about the jeep.. as long as you and DH walked away from it.. forget it. Thank God for that!

Now.. that sweep by the Angels was pretty depressing. I have never seen a team lie down like that ever before.. not even the Mets.

Jesus, the Yanks shouldn't have even shown up... am I making you feel better?

My FH and I are going through similar issues, we have a 5-step solution:

1. Win the lottery
2. Quit our jobs
3. Buy new cars
4. Move to Tahiti (with our new cars)
5. Not tell our FIL's where we moved

Somehow you are making me LAUGH, dude.., even at my Yanks expense. Oh yeah , don't doubt it.. part of my malaise IS due to the Yanks sucking lately. They aren't helping me feel any better when they just lie down to die and act kinda like the METS!!

So thank you --friends like you, Don and DH love to remind me of this fact, that while you boys begin focusing your attention on football (being as though your baseball season is, in esssence, OVER)

I've been there and all I can say is IT WILL PASS...Trust me, you know it, just take it hour by hour untill the sun shines again ok??

We ALL need to vent sometimes, and what better place then here, sometimes it helps to complain to people outside the situation so dont feel bad for having to just get things off your chest!

And if it helps any, I truly HATE my job as well, sometimes it takes all my energy just to walk out the front door in the morning!!

It is okay to feel for yourself every now and then. It's normal!!! It sounds like you have had a rough patch and your dealing with it!!!!!

Just when you think you can't take any more, you will be handed more...but you'll be surprised at how much you really can handle. At some point it will all turn around, and be all the better, but it's a long road sometimes. I hope you feel better...let the little things help you through!
