WE got ours a couple of weeks ago and when we got there, there was no one there. It took us about 20 minutes to get our license.

Why so close? You have 60 days before the wedding to get your license, and it can't be within the 24 hours before. 2 days is cutting it awfully close, in case something goes wrong.

I think they live out of state ( maybe Califronia) & are just coming here for the wedding.
My 60 day mark is Monday, but I am waiting for my birth certificate to come back with my passport.

Go early in the day & if they turn you away, try other locations. Make a list ahead of time. it can be anywhere in the state.

It took us longer to get past the slack security than to actually get our license.
We were in and out in less than 10mins. For us that was long enough for them to make copies of our stuff, ask us a few questions, let us fill out a form, explain the civil ceremony stuff, schedule our appt and then pay.
It was scary how fast. OH and we got a car package. (or was that after we got married?)
