of rooms in their house that they have done in a faux finish? Also if you could tell me what technique you used I would really appreciate it.
Thanks ladies

Re: I'm on a faux kick today - anyone have pics...
This is my guest bedroom (before I decorated). The wall in the back is sponged. I used a dark yellow in the back and lighter/creamy yellow on top of if. It was my first attempt and I must say it is really simple and quick.
My bathrooms were all done for me when I moved in and I haven't repainted - I believe they are rag rolling. I plan on keeping them for awhile because they are all in good condition. These are pictures from the inspection - not since I moved in...sorry for the bad angles - tried to find a picture that was close enough for your to see the effect. I don't have a picture of my half bath which is marbling - I believe.
Now - I am considering doing the suede effect for my master bedroom - DH and I started looking into it and it doesn't look that hard...

Niecy....My kitchen looks just like the first pic you posted. I used one color, and just made criss-crosses.

We attempted to do a sponging technique and it came out nowhere lke we imagined! Although we are keepig it now because we don't have the time or patience to do it over. Here's an old picture:
I think it looks so much better with light colors. I love the yellow bedroom in the above picture!

I don't know how clear the pics will show up. I did my own faux finish in our bathroom. The walls were painted a cream color and I painted over them (in small sections) in a sage-y color...then swirled the paint off. It left a nice Klimt-like effect (LOVE Klimt).
