There's a Maggie trunk show at Helen's in Commack this weekend, so I've been in contact with Liz there- she is soooo nice. The sweetest lady I've encountered in all the shops I've been in.
She requested the specific dress I wanted to see from Maggie in my SIZE, and they shipped it to her!!!! I got to try my dress on yesterday, in the size I'd order (its a little snug, but there will DEFINITELY be some weight loss. Oh, and its a corset back, so all is well.)
I loooove this dress! I'm so excited
I wasn't sure if I wanted to order so early, but since its a brand new dress, they're just starting production and it'll take a little over 6 months to come in.

eta: Forgot to add - I'm ordering the dress in WHITE with PEWTER BEADING! Love the touch of color. The dress pictured is all diamond white.

Thanks so much!!!! I knew this was THE dress. I kept talking about it, so it had to be the one for me.
I'm finallllly home - what a long day!
I went to see Phyllis...she gave me the best price on my gown by a couple hundred dollars, so it was a no-brainer.
I also ordered a veil (2 tiered, plain veil, fingertip length, with some poufiness at the top)
AND
bought a headpiece off her rack of discontinued items....for 25 BUCKS!!! I'm in love with the thing. I'm actually wearing it right now
I'll take some pics of it tomorrow - its so sparkly!
