You could lose the shuttles and rolls royce and that will give you back at least $1500.

I can lose the Rolls, but definitely not the shuttle. We have 40 rooms reserved and half of our guests are from OOT.

Sorry Jess...I know what it is like when you are trying to buy a house...I can't even imagine trying to plan a wedding a the same time. Cutting back is going to be hard. Any chance on picking up some part time work to earn extra cash instead? I'm working 3 jobs myself.

Right now I tutor 3 kids privately and teach and after school test prep course. I will definitely be picking up other work during my school breaks. I have also started selling everything I can!!! Books, jewelry, trinkets.

I never actually made a budget sheet.. We kind of just set an amount and are TRYING to stick to it LOL
Not working but we know how much we can spend and what we cant... We are doing this paycheck to paycheck and he is the only one working so... We cant go over budget too much!

I did my budget last night also. I'm also over budget

Are you likely to receive money from your guests at the wedding? Don't forget to factor that in.

Plus, do you think you may get a tax refund in April?

how about losing the bouts for the guys (except FH)
and having candle CPs instead of flowers....that could save you a few hundred from your florist bill

yes I hear you I will be there for atleast 2 more years

just calm down bc its hard to think straight when you are this stressed. But i would just sit down and really try to figure out a way to do this...i dont know your salary or bills to know where to cut down or what to do so dont know what to say but there is a way, might not be easy though

I am not over budget but just recently i fell a little behind, i stayed on track for a year putting aside exactly what i should every month and taking care of things...But family things came up, i had to lend a couple thousand dollars which i took out of the money i had put aside for Rh payments, so now all of a sudden had to make up that money quick and then a couple of other things happened. Yes i did freak out, but had to sit down and just come up with a plan and finally am getting back on track now, also helping that im gonna get the money back that i lent soon.

Just sit with Fh and think of all you can do, whether how to come up with the extra money or how to cut out other things to save the money

Also, instead of (or in addition to) a traditional registry, you can have a honeymoon registry...since you said you don't have a honeymoon yet, maybe others can 'buy' pieces of it for you.

AMEN TO THAT! I TEACH IN THE CITY AND I HAVE MY MASTERS AND WE CANT MAKE IT WORK!!! WE LIVE PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK. I WORK AFTERSCHOOL TEST PREP TOO AND SATURDAY!!
