....one of my vendor selections. It's between two and one is more well-known than the other, but I feel more comfortable with the less well-known one. Plus, all reviews I've read about them are positive,, the more popular one had a few negative reviews but nothing that crazy....
I think I know what I have to do. Go with my gut and take a chance.... ???????????

Three of my vendors were not 'popular' well known vendors - but I saw their work, I met with them and knew that I wanted them to be there on our wedding day. I don't regret it one bit and am sooo happy w/ the decisions we made

I wouldnt go with a vendor just because they are more popular. I would go with what makes you happy. I would def listen to ur gut and go with the vendor u feel is right for u whichever 1 it may be.

I also had some not 'well known' vendors, at least on here. They ended up being some of the most awesome decisions I made. Go with your gut feeling!!!

When you say 'more well-known', does that mean more well-known on LIW? There are plenty of fantastic, popular wedding vendors who never get mentioned (or who are blocked) on the boards!

Go with your gut. My RH, photographer & DJ aren't the more 'popular' ones on LIW, but I coudn't be happier with everything we have experienced so far.

Yea exactly!!! Don't get wrapped up on who it seems that everyone is using here. It is a wonderful place for suggestions and opinions....but if everyone seems to be using ONE or TWO vendors don't feel that you have to use them too.
Most of my vendors are not well known on here and I got great deals and great results so far.
Go with your gut!

Check other websites for reviews, but if you like a vendor, then go for it. I avoided some popular vendors because of their negative reviews. Just do your research and go with what will make you happy on your day.

I'm also going to look at B*rtons for flowers, but I was specifically talking about photographer and DJ in my original post.
...and you are absolutely right ...just b/c they are not talked about frequently on LIW doesn't mean they aren't good.
