I found out New Year's Eve---I can't believe it!! We are so excited and nervous and all the other emotions that go with it. We just told our parents and that is all --until the 2nd trimester! I just needed to share it here---I've been on this board since planning my wedding, so it feels special for me to share it with you guys!!

I'm due on 9/3/03, so I'm only 5 weeks pregnant!! I've already bought a book about pregnancy and cannot believe all that is happening in my body right now! IT is all so amazing!

For confidential reasons, I actually changed my wedding date (on my profile) to the date that we officially got married (justice of the peace) not the reception date that we used this site to help plan for.
I only told my parents on the phone---since we live in different parts of the country. I asked my mom what she was doing next September and how she felt about being a grandmother again then. She screamed out of excitement and gave the phone to my dad who was crying. I am the youngest and have five older brothers (they all have kids), so I think that that is why they may have been extra excited.
My husband wants to be extra cautious the first trimesterr, so we will wait to tell his family. my brothers and our friends until after that time.
