i'm probably overreacting ... or am i?
Ok so my job is annoying me lately ...
i'm started working here about 3 years ago ... about a year ago, 2 guys have been added into my 'group' (it used to just be me). One of the guys has been with the company for longer than me. Anyway, I've been asking for more repsonsibility with my group (so i could hopefully manage or at least be a team leader one day) and it seems to me as if it's not gonna happen. in fact, the guy who's been here longer has been going to TONS of meetings and whatnot and he seems to be getting the leader title ... but this is MY effing team! i've been in this team longest, i know this crap the best, it should be ME!!! i'm so annoyed.
and now i get an email from our boss and ... ok, this may be stupid ... but in the order of the email addresses that it's addressed to, i'm last! It should be me first, then the guy who's been here longest, then the new-ish guy! This wouldn't normally bother me except that when i first started here, my boss specifically told me to address emails in the order of importance ... so does that mean i'm even less important than the new guy who just started working here a year ago?!
i'm really feeling discouraged and annoyed and blah![]()
ps: it doesn't help that the guy who's been here longest is a complete and utter idiot .... his work is soooo ******, it's not even funny.
