my job!!! I have put up with a lot over the past 4 yrs and I decided today that enough is enough. I am going away the first week of August and when I come back my 2 week notice is going in. I have never been so disrespected and treated so badly at a job before. I feel so good....it's going to be tough to find another job since I am from Westchester and now I am looking on Long Island....but I know I have to do this and things will fall into place. I am going to have to save every penny especially with the wedding.
Wish me luck with the job hunting. I'm going to need it

Wow! You sound like you work at the same place I do. I basically got fired/quit today....we dont deserve to be treated like crap...good look with the job hunt...Im starting tomorrow

It just gets so irritating that I bust my butt working and my pockets don't seem to grow but these people treat us like crap and their bank accounts get bigger and bigger and they dont care who is helping them get that way. Its scary because of the wedding and also picking up and moving at the same time....i just hope that I don't regret leaving because of the $$$.

I was in the same boat a year ago and I quit. Best decision I ever made. Was my wallet a little thinner? Yes. But my mental health was seriously suffering there and in the end, it wasn't worth it for me to get up everyday just to be MISERABLE. When one door closed, another will open. Good Luck!!

I understand completely where you are coming from. With my job, its not so much the duties that are killing me its the lack of respect the other employees have for each other and as well as towards myself. Because I am younger (28) and work in a place that is unionized with people who have been there 25 years, I often find their attitude torwards me can drive anyone insane!
I truly respect and admire you for making the move to get out and find something else that will make you happy!!!

good luck!! you don't deserve to be treated like that....my only advice is to maybe hang in there a little bit until you find something else?? Like...use them for a paycheck.....
