I'm really upset.....

For a long time I had stop searching for florists because my mother knew someone that was a decorator/florist. I decided to make an appt with him and he came to my house and he showed me work and I loved it. I told him fine I want to book you and he told me you dont have to give me money now just pay me over time bc I am doing it as a favor. Because as most of you know I am having a baseball/NY Mets theme and alot of the ideas I have seen online are very birthday party looking. I want my wedding to look classy and stylish yet fun. So he gives me 2 ideas and I was like ok I will think about it. Well the other day I send him an email and he was like 'well by the looks of it you seem like your doubting my skills, so get someone that you are happy with, thank you'
I was furious and upset bc why would he say this. I didnt tell FH because I know FH gets mad at stuff like this. Anyways I call the guy up and say listen we are both adults here whats going on, I didnt write to you to be mean or anything. Guess what he tells me...'I DONT HAVE THE PATIENCE TO WORK WITH INDECISIVE PEOPLE'
At this point I became really furious and said ok thank you very much. Can you girls believe this?? FH was furious as well and said to take his **** and shove it up his *** because we wont be needing his services.

Now I am back to square one with florist. Sorry to vent girls but I needed to talk.

WOW..that was rude! DOnt these vendors realize that they get the most business through word of mouth? Anyway...I recommend calling Flowers By Burton. They gave me an AMAZING quote and its the same price or any flower...

Wow I would have told him exactly what your FH wanted to tell him.... that's a lot of nerve and who cares even if you were indecisive it's a lot of money and you want your day to be perfect find someone who cares enough to do that for you.

Are you serious?!?!?! Don't most florists want pictures and ideas so they can work with you to give you what you want?? I think you are going to be much better off without this looney!! At least you still have plenty of time to look around! Good luck sweetie!

Ive had issues with TWO florists! I dunno why but I always thought flower people would be happy people

I'm worried I am going to have a similar future. I want this family friend to recreate a hanging votive/branch CP and I'm not sure if she's going to be able to do it. If not, I am going to get someone else to do the CPs. I really want them, why should I compromise because someone is unable to produce what I am asking for... Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience :(

Wow...At least you found out what this guy was like before you booked him! Your wedding is a year and a half away. You have the right to be 'indecisive' at this time!

Wow that was very rude. In my experience for searching for florist I found some of them to be the most rudest vendors to deal with . It is better that he shows his true colors now. Who knows how your flowers would have looked like.

If you need suggestions check with verbena designs.

OMG! My eyes nearly bugged out of my head while reading that! You dont need to deal with people like that - I can't believe he would say he doesn't want to work with indecisive people - OF COURSE you would doubt anyone's skills at first - that's the whole point of them gaining your trust through seeing their portfolios - they should sell the s h i t out of themselves to you, not act as if you're lucky they considered working with you! Oh Vicki - dont even think twice about this person! I highly recommend Flower Michele - John comes across as such a sincere honest guy!
