I'm really upset.... :o(

I just fopund out that my shower is tomorrow.. and I am 18 days away from my wedding... Thats not the part that I am upset about.. NONE of my friends or FHs friends were invited!!!!!!!!! My sister always throws things half assed.. and this is the final straw... I am really hurt... One of my guests and I have known each other since kindergarten for crying out loud!! She wasnt invited to my baby shower and now shes not invited to my bridal shower, I would rather have my friends there than half my fricken family!!! I spent a good ten minutes sobbing on my FI's shoulder.. But he thinks I am whacked and doesnt understand why I am upset.

Its like... We werent able to invite as many friends as WE wanted to OUR wedding because of our parents and WHO THEY feel NEEDS to be there... Since THEY are throwing hte shower they could at least INVITE OUR F*CKING FRIENDS!!!!!!

I am to the point where I wanna call the whole thing off!!!!!

No they all have called me, and asked if they were having a shower for me, or if they were invited... Or Brian has called them to see if they were invited... Like his friends I have become friends with and all his guy friends are IN MY BP.... their girlfriends are all invited to the wedding but WERENT invited to my shower!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FMIL invited all of her old crappy smelly friends and MY MOTHER invited all of her old obnoxious selfcentered friends... UGH... I have been crying since I found out..........

I have found that the whole wedding thing brings out the worst- hang in there, we are almost done!

im sorry,i wouldnt be happy about either...
(on the optimistic end, the parents old friends will probably buy you nice gifts at least)... and maybe brian can have an informal type shower thing, for just all your friends who didnt get invited like in a backyard or something

That stinks. Hopefully the shower will be wonderful anyway...I am sure it will. Some people are just terrible planners!

OMG, that really stinks!
Maybe you and your friends can get together before the wedding for lunch or dinner.
No gifts or anything just a reason to hang out with you the bride! This will allow you to maybe have that shower feeling with them.
