awww...sorry sweetie...I think that was rude of her. I don't know your friend but she had to have known you would have found out about the party. Don't you think the other couple there tonight would have said anything...Seems passive-agressive to me..
Could she be upset with you about something else???

I got home from the testing at 10:30 and slept from 11 to 2:30 and I have been up ever since.

I will sleep well tongiht thought...

I called stacy and told her that I will make her dinner and bring it over, and she laughed at me....

Told her there will be none of that and regardless of the tests I undergo, she should be pampered!

I don't think that she likes to 'mix' JT and I with her other 'friends'. We are the only people her and her FH are friends with that 'still live on Long Island', as they put it. One of her friends once said to me, 'Ohhh, so YOU'RE the one who still lives on the island. Isn't that cute?' Cute? What the f do I look like? But I digress.....she is very wrapped up in how much money her friends have and make and how big their houses are and how gigantic their engagement rings are or where their parents live. That side of her only rears its ugly head with me every now and then, but when she's around her 'real' friends, it's how they ALL are. If I hear, 'Oh, that's so sweet that you're a teacher,' one more time, I think I'll punch someone. So in that respect I can see why she wouldn't think we'd want to come, but she's acts like she's embarrassed that JT and I aren't 'wealthy' and what not. It's just so upsetting when you start to see people for who they really are.

sometimes it's just a case of misunderstanding... if you value her friendship, then be honest with her and talk about what is REALLY bothering you. maybe you are totally off base? maybe not. but the only way you will truly find out is if you talk to her about it...

if the relationship has deteriorated to a point where you don't feel comfortable talking about it, then perhaps it's time to part ways. the only way you will find out is if you say something. her reaction or lack thereof will give you a better idea what she really thinks and feels...

been there, done that, lost a 'friend' in the process... but have salvaged other friendships as well
