Im sad!!

FH and I cannot decide on a honeymoon spot!!

We wont go on a cruise, we wanted to go to Secrets Excellence in Cancun but when we are ready to go on our honeymoon they will have new owners so we are afraid it wont be the same......We want the dinner on the beach and alittle of the romance.........
We dont wanna go somewhere that takes longer then 4--4 1/2 hours on a plane because we only have 7 day.....so as you can see we are making it difficult for ourselves

Any ideas??

You sound like me, lol. I had the plane ride time limit and I didn't want anything other than a direct flight. So we've decided to go to the Paradisus Punta Cana in Dominican Republic. Flight is less than 4 hours. They also have a Secrets in Punta Cana, not sure if that one is changing owners as well. Good Luck!

Aruba is only four , four and a half hours and it very romantic! the restaurants are great and its a beautiful place......

I am going to the Dominican Republic also. It's cheaper than other island and it's within your traveling time.

why dont you look into cap juluca in anguilla --its about 4 hours away!

I was in the same boat, so we decided on Aruba. It's pretty close, and the hotel we booked had a honeymoon pkg that included a sunset cruise around the island and a private candlelight dinner on the beach.

i feel your pain!!! after hearing about Secrets new management---now I can't figure out where the heck to go!!

want a HM spot that won't break the bank--but is beautiful and preferably all-inclusive!!

Two words...Royal Hideaway!! it's in a class of its own. You can read reviews on TripAdvisor.com and my review is posted on The Bride's Review board. Really and truly paradise...
