i'm sad about the pope

They are saying the rosary in St Peter's Square right now ---

I was crying listening to 1010Wins on the way home

it is so sad

it is so sad. i saw him when he was at the aquaduct. im watching msnbc, also rai the italian new channel with my fmil and family. im 21 and dont even remember a pope before him. it is very upsetting.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.




i'm in tears watching the t.v rai is doing and over look at his life. very said.

I too am upset by this imminent death. I am praying for him. It is very sad, not just to die, but to have the whole world watching. I am glad that everyone around the world from all walks of life are praying too.

I am not a Catholic, but I am terribly saddened to hear the Pope is not well. He means to much to so many people and is a source of spirituality, hope and love to so many people. I hope and pray that he does not feel pain and suffering as he makes this most difficult and ultimate journey to be with G-d.

He was a brilliant and articulate man. I am old enough to remember when he became Pope and I remember when he was shot. His amazing willingness to meet his assailant and willingness to forgive makes him, in my mind, an example of true faith.
