I'm second guessing my HM

I'm second guessing my HM

We originally wanted to go to Aruba, but it became too expensive for us. Everyone said how about Costa Rica..its beautiful, beaches etc and very very cheap. So we booked with a travel agent, we paid half, and now Im not so sure.
FH is not much of a outdoorsy type of person, I'm afraid it will be boring for him and I cant stop worrying about it.
We wont have much money EVER ( lol) to travel so I want to make sure its a good trip ( problem is limited money to do anything great)

Anyone know anyone who went to Costa Rica and loved it?

i've heard SUCH great things about costa rica...fh and i were looking into it ourselves, but fh really wanted to go to jamaica so that's what we went with...

you were so excited about CR and i'm sure it's going to be a great time!!!!!!!! but if you're having second thoughts maybe you should contact your travel agent and see if it's too late to change?

i really am no help lol

Costa Rica is gorgeous. My neighbors are from there and I have heard so many wonderful stories about it there. I have never been there personally. Does FH like to relax by the beach? Are you going to a resort? I am sure there are so many things for you to do. What does he think?

I've been hearing mixed reviews....we are not going during the rainy season, but I hear that the beach area gets brown during dry season...I heard the town ( beach) we are staying at isint that great and that a lot of areas, the beach is for mainly surfers? I just dont know...I dont know if you can canel once you have booked...

I think I should have looked around more...

I cant believe you posted this!!!!

Last night I went to a Halloween party and we were talking to this couple who went to Costa Rica on their honeymoon. Everything they described sounded amazing!!!!! I told FH - you know who is going to CR? The girl from LIW that I have all that stuff in common with!!! Anyway we were in awe of the things they were saying but at this point we really narrowed it down to Aruba (for less days otherwise we cant afford it) or Riviera Maya in Mexico. BUT my first choice was always to go to Costa RIca. So please....go so I can live through you!!!! But in all seriousness, you should not be second guessing yourself. I think its a great choice you wont regret!!!

We are questioing it a LOT...We now wished we would have looked into Puerto Vallarata and Nassau in Bahmams..both are a little cheaper..about $500 cheaper but also seem to have better beaches and more to do that FH will like...he would like snokling, nightlife, clear beaches...I hear Costa rica has very rough waves all over, in the dry season turns brown..its depressing us a lot!

BUT THANKS for your words, I'll try to be happy about it if we cant change...
