I called the Fox Hollow a few minutes ago and I couldn't believe how rude one of the banquet managers was to me. He wouldn't even give me any information about the place. At first I couldn't wait to check it out-now, no way. If they could treat me so bad on the phone...who knows about my wedding day. I hope other people have a better experience....it really looks nice online. I even went to a wedding there and loved it.
I have heard that a lot of places won't give out info (like price and avail) over the phone. I guess they figure if they get you down there and you like it enough they can talk you into any price or date. I personally didn't experience this, but know someone who planned an LI wedding from out of town and ran into this alot.

thats so annoying! Sorry they were so rude to you. I answer the calls at the RH I work for and I am always willing to help. I hate when people wont give quotes over the phone!
I agree...don't write them off yet.... a number of things could have been happening that took his focus away from you...go and check it out still.
I went to the Fox Hollow and absolutely loved it. I was really considering it in my top three rh's but I never got a follow up call or letter or anything. I was so surprised. Every other place called me and sent a thank you.That was it for me. Maybe it's crazy for me to scratch it off the list for something so trivial but I felt like if this is how they are before booking while trying to get business, I would hate to see how they were after you book. Every review I read for Fox Hollow is pretty good, but I booked with giorgios. I absolutely love it there.
