I'm sick in the head

I don't know what the heck it is, but I reallllllly want to show FH my dress!!!

We're both pretty traditional, so he doesn't want to see it - but I just feel like I NEED his opinion...not like he knows anything about dresses anyway!!!

I guess we've shared everrrything for almost 7 years - its killing me to keep a secret from him!

Anyone else, or am I just plain nutso?!?!

I'm the same way....I have this fear that he's gonna be like 'oh...that was what you talked about for a year and a half???'

The other day I had the digital camera out and purposely left it on showing my dress....FH Yelled and threw it at me b/c he didn't want to see it....he's so cute!

i showed fh pics of dresses I liked. he gets picky about some of my clothes. i don't know if i will show if the definite one though.

i haven't even started looking for my dress yet, but when i mentioned that i wanted to begin my search, my FH asked when 'we' would start looking at pictures! i told him that the first time he'd see my dress was when i start to walk down the aisle!

He saw a pic but didn't know that it was the dress I liked and he said,' that's ugly!' Too bad for him! I also know that if it's the one I get he won't remember at all.

POINT!!! is.... No matter how bad you want to don't do it!!! Just imagine you standing at the end of the alter and the look on his face when he sees you in your dress for the first time. Priceless!!

ur not crazy... FH and I were at a wedding a few weeks ago and the bride had a similar dress to mine on and I asked him what he thought of it and he liked it.. so that made me feel better, but I am dying to show him

He understood what a pickup dress was??? If I told angelo that he owuldlook at me like a dear caught in headlights.
I want to show his sooooooooo bad too but all he says is that he knows i have great taste and that no mater what i wear he knows I will look like a princess. ( we both love the princess look)

Me too...I actually tried convincing him why it's a good idea to see it (before I bought it). I'm glad he convinced me otherwise. I want to see his reaction at the church. Hopefully, it's a good one!

I totally know what you mean! I took him dress shopping with me and he has actually seen me in my dress but he doesn't know it! There was one he really liked and then the one I picked. (He liked that one too!) I just had to get his opinion because he is SO DAMN PICKY! He is very opinionated and is clear on what he likes. I was freaking out at the idea that he would not like my dress.

He enjoyed dress shopping with me - we only went to 2 shops together but it was fun! It was interesting to hear what he had to say. He actually does know what a pick-up is and I think knows more about necklines and hemlines then most women! He loves learning about anything and everything. I'm sure he knows what dress I picked but he won't see it again until the wedding day! He won't remember - so I'm not worried.

yes, i tried to show vinny a pic and he ran away lol

it's hard b/c i feel the same way-- that we are big on sharing everything, we tell each other everything, we are like best friends so i want him to see it for some reason-- but at the same time, we are traditional and there is a small part of me that does not want him to see at all-- but all of him does not want to, so he's not going to see it-- i think in the long run, when it's all said and done, i'll be really happy he didn't let me show him

but totally normal to feel that way!
