I'm singing the Ugly Postal Stamp Blues!!!!!

Very disappiointed with the stamps I had to get for Donna's Shower Invitations!!!!! The gold???? heart stamps, and a patriotic 2cent star stamp!!! Then, I came home and looked at their prettier stamps online!!!!! I WILL be telling Donna about the online stamps!! HOWEVER, the postal gal told me they have wedding cake/wedding ring stamps making their debut, but not in time for Donna's invitations, going out for August. Ugh!!! Mary MOB

Check out the Hicksville P.O. they have a room just for stamps.....quite a selection

Dont feel bad Mary! These are the ugly stamps that are on my wedding invites .................

The lady at the post office told me that these were the only .59 stamps they had so I bought them. When I went online they had the hearts for .59 Oh well!

Nope! And we asked FH's aunt because she works for the USPS and she said she couldnt. Its too late anyway because I already put them on the envelopes. I laugh everytime I look at them! Hopefully other poeple will find it humerous as well!

My FMIL works for the post office and the cake/ring stamps come out in the middle of may! My mom called me today to tell me she picked up stamps for our invitations but went to return them because they looked like transformers!!!

The lady I spoke to today, told me they wouldn't be out in time for Donna to use for her August wedding. Maybe she's not familiar with when invitations go out? May would be plenty of time, right? Mary MOB

I got my wedding invitation stamps at Zazzle.com, LOVE LOVE LOVE them. HOwever, the reply isn't due until after the new postage of .45cents goes into effect so for those I had no choice but to put the ugly forever stamps on
