so fh and i desided to get a photobooth for the entire reception..we find a great company everything is good...they tell me they need 2 hours to set up and to clear it with fox hollow..
so i call fox hollow and they tell me they can only give them a half hour to set up because there is another ch going on in my reception room??
ok first off..im annoyed fox hollow never told me there was a ch going on in my reception room...and now all i can think about is arwe they going to be able to set my room up in time...
so no photobooth for us..im so upset

Ugh that is BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell??? Isn't there somewhere they can set up the photobooth that isn't in the main reception room?

That's crazy how are they only giving themselves 30 minutes to set up the room,clean everything up and put all of your stuff out..i just find that strange.

i wouldn't worry about them being able to set up your reception room -- they're amazing..but that IS annoying about the fact that they can't have the time to set up the booth!!!! that's a long time to set it up though? is there anyway they could set it up in a shorter amount of time, or set it up elsewhere and then bring it into the room?? just reaching here since i don't know how big the photo booth is

Oh NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's not cool. They should have mentioned that to you. But they probably booked your reception room as their CH room after you booked your wedding? I don't know why they would do that so close together. I think they must know what they are doing though, in terms of the setting up and what not. If this wasn't do-able I would hope they wouldn't of planned it this way.
Also, why does the Photobooth need 2 hours to set up? I think mine only needed a half hour.

I know it suxs but most reception halls that have more than 1 room will have events run like that to max. their bookings. The RH will be able to set up your room in no time. Mine only had just over 30 mins so it will be fine as far as set up. And I dont know why a photo-booth takes 2 hrs to set up......I could guarantee they rarely get 2 hrs at a RH to set up.

Sorry ! You never vent so you must be ticked off! .....did you speak to upper management? is there nothing that can be done....you should not have to sacrifice a special element of your day espcially when they neglected the little tid bit about another CH going on!
if you really want it fight for it.......!

ummm why are they having a cocktail hour in your reception room??? id flip! Besides can they even adequately clean it in a half hour?!
I reserved like 3 rooms at danfords in case of rain so i dont think anyone is even booked for my day let alone is anyone going near my room.

Im a litle scared now because i booked a photobooth also!!! and FH called Fox Hollow and they didnt mention ANYTHING to us about having another CH in our room. I think im going to need him to call again!!
