i'm so annoyed about my dress (sorry it's so long)

I'm not one to complain on here but I'm so annoyed I have to get this out!

i ordered this dress in JUNE, i was told a ship date of dec. then jan. then feb 1. and when i called on 2/10 they told me it was scheduled to be in on 2/13. so when i call on 2/23, 10 days after they said it would be in to make an appt to try it on they tell me it should be in 'any day now' does that not sit well with you? it's not sitting to well for me
i just don't get it i spend all this money on a dress and veils etc. and i have to keep calling for the status of my dress. and the girl on the phone gave me such an attitude. i am going to try to speak to someone else about it, but i want to know where my dress is. it's making me very nervous. all i keep thinking is that it's going to come in wrong!!!!!

the girl on the phone was like you're wedding isn't until july you don't have to have fittings for awhile
and i replied 'do you really think i'm just gonna take your word for it that my dress is correct???'

she was like well it's not necessary to try it on

THEN WHY DID THEY TELL ME I COULD?!?!?!?!?!?!

that is really annoying kristi!! And between heather and your story i am getting worried that I ordered my gown there as well

They told me middle of June so I guess in June I will have to call and see if it came in and go from there. I just hope i wont have to bust out my mean side...lol i can't deal with confrontation well

But I would be pissed Kristi definitely talk to Mary ellen! Hopefully she wont give you an attitude. She seemed pretty nice when I ordered my gown. But honestly I would be annoyed as well and there is no reason that they shouldn't be contacting you!!!!!

Since they ordered my cathedral veil in the wrong color I wanted to know if I could try on the sample with my gown just to get an idea. She told me there is no sample of that, and they never had it. Meanwhile, I TRIED ON THE SAMPLE WHEN I ORDERED THE GOWN!! THATS WHY I GOT IT!! Got me a little peeved, like I don't know what I tried on that day?? Hm... Kinda wish I had gone to Angel Bridal...

my mom got her dress at angel bridal, they were super nice. it's funny i went in to match my shoes to the sample of my dress and it was gone. they said it was b/c they were moving things around for new dresses. now this was awhile ago, but it made me wonder if MY dress was going to be the sample. I would be so PI$$ed

I know, its very shady! I had such a great FIRST experience there, but every subsequent one has been awful. I went there w/my MOH to look at dresses, and they COMPLETELY ignored us, and I had an appointment!! We ended up ordering them at Angel Bridal. I know the owner there and the only reason I didnt go there is b/c I didnt want her to thinkI was looking for a discount, but now I'm so disappointed that I didnt. The only saving grace is that I love my gown and they dont carry maggies at Angel.

Kristi I feel your pain. I don't think we ordered from the same place so don't regret your shop choice, there are good/bad experiences everywhere.
My gown has been going to be in 'any day now' for well over a month. it was originally supposed to be in by my birthday.

with 32 days left, i'm freaking out.

I'm sorry they are jerking you around.

So aggravating, i'm sure it will all be ok......where did you order from?

like kerri said unfortunately it seems to happen more often then people like to admit as i'm finding out.

if i'm stressing with 4 1/2 months, you guys must be sick with 32 days?!?!?!?!?!? i just don't think it's fair of them to string you me or anyone along. personally i think they probably made some sort of mistake and won't live up to it. i hope they realize how stressed out this makes us.

thank you all we can do at this point is that the dresses come in and prepare to get a backup at david's if they don't. one this that this whole experience has taught me though is that I have absolutely no control of a lot of things. They are either going to work out or not work out regardless of how much effort or worrying I put in to it.
