I'm so bad-NWR- UPDATE on wallet

I just won an ebay auction for a coach wallet. It was $71 plus $10 S&H. I absolutely do not need this, but I have never had coach anything, and I wanted it. They give you 3 days to return. I would have no idea if its real or not, how can I tell. If its real, this a good price, or did I get ripped off? UPDATE - see below

You might be able to get a coach wallet for around that price at a factory store.

If the wallet is used then it could be real.

They have like a serial number sewn in the inside of the bag. If you have a serial number it's real and congrats!!!

That is a good deal if it is real. My coach wallet was over $200. I would be very careful, I bought a fake Fendi on ebay once. You can totally tell its fake, the quality was crap. If I were you I would take the wallet to Macys or the Coach store to compare it. I think also coach numbers their items on the inside on a small leather plaque.

if you see a registration # inside the wallet then it is definitely real. that is the only major difference between a real and a good fake

I work for Coach and I can tell you that the best way to tell if its real is to look inside the wallet for a little silver Coach logo, and examine the closure snaps inside the wallet...it should say Coach on it...

ETA: Not all wallets have registration numbers inside.

You'll know it's real when you look at it closely. If in doubt, go to a Coach store and look at a similar wallet so you now what it should look like. I have sold Coach stuff on Ebay before (used) and actually got more than that so it is possible it's real.

If that is the actual picture of the wallet... then I don't think its real... bc the pattern is suppose to be symmetrical... but of course I can be wrong.

but I will say that that picute of your wallet is sitting on coach tissue paper and it does look real

see, i'm in the position that a really good fake, or a 'slightly irregular' are just as good as a real. I say as long as it looks good, go for it! most of my purses are slightly irregulars and you would never know.....usually IF you can find whats wrong, its on the inside.....and you pay a FRACTION of the price

Well ladies, it came in the mail today- fast delivery - and I think its a fake. It doesn't have a serial # or a little plaque. Also I noticed on the Coach website that the word Coach is on the left side of the buckles and this one has it on the right side. It is real leather and looks like its put together nicely.
So here's the question-
Is the $ worth it for a fake, or should I return it?

Aren't fakes much cheaper on Canal Street or something? I'm not sure about the price, but I would be pissed and return it!

IMO, $70 is too much for a fake. Return it.
Real coach wallets are that much at the outlet anyway. Get your money back.

Def return it...you could get a real on at the Coach Outlet for that much!!

return it...$70 is too much. but take it to coach for the hell of it...
