I'm SO comfy right now....I need more skorts!

ladies are allowed to wear shorts and flip flops....ahhhh gotta love summer dress code!!!

I LOVE SKORTS!!
Where can I find some more???

you lucky girls!

we just got a nasty 'reminder' memo at our firm, strictly reminding us of the fact that even though we are 'business casual' all th the time, there are about 1000 things we are NOT allowed to wear during the summer months!

Here are the things we CANNOT wear:

The following attire is unacceptable: jeans of any color, denim shirts or jackets, shorts, tee shirts, abbreviated tops, strapless tops and dresses, halter tops, tank tops, sweatshirts, sweatpants, leggings, cropped pants, athletic attire, work-out clothes, warm-up suits, baseball caps, sneakers, hiking boots, beach-type sandals, clogs, or any distracting, revealing or provocative clothing.

I can handle most of it, but I love wearing my capris and sandals!!!

Skorts are awesome - and the BEST place to get them is NY&Co.!!!! I went shopping there for my honeymoon and bought what I thought was a skirt, but they were skorts! The most awesome thing about htem - it looks like a skirt on both sides, and just had the shorts underneath - totally looks like a skirt ;) I love it so much - I actually need to go back to build up my summer wardrobe......

We are not allowed to wear those here...

I am not even supposed to wear capris (but I do, my manager is cool) and if we have open toe sandals on we are supposed to wear stockings (none of us do)

just my luck, I am supposed to be off today but I am working...I have on sandals and capris and my District manager showed up today...she didn't say anything about what I have on..

I agree. I bought a pair, and when I tried them on I had no idea they were shorts.
I LOVE them.

ooh I love those! my mom got me those for my birthday & they were comfy but I took tehm back , b/c they didn't fit & I haven't used my store credit yet! I like them b/c they don't look lieka skort- I always felt a littel weird in a skort- like, 'who am I trying to fool?' but these are cool- you'd never know!

You poor thing...what does that leave for you to wear? Pants in 100 degree weather?
Luckily I can pretty much wear anything. I won't lie there are days i have come to work in sweats looking like I just rolle dout of bed

Now they make them with shorts under them, it looks like your wearing a skirt.

The thing I wrote about - Scooter's - is a skirt with shorts underneath, but it looks like a skirt from all angles.

yup- that's what a skort is... it has a wrap in the front to make it look like a skirt...

I can't wear them to the office. Although, it's semi casual here, I know I'd be one of the one's they talk about 'Who does that girl think she is!'
