I'm so confused!! Sorry long..

I know today is my one yr and I should be happy and i am but im also getting upset.... Ok so I always wanted a fall wedding, with my colors being brown and ivory....but due to my family's business we picked Aug 30th instead.....

So what i'm asking is it ok to have fall colors like brown and ivory for Aug??? I was thinking I wasn't gonna go the whole Fall theme, but I still love those colors..so I was thinking brown and ivory with rich semi bright color flowers to lighten up the theme...thoughts?

Another issues...my dress I picked out my dress and I fell in love with the Diamond White so I ordered it.....i've been having seconds thoughts now about having my colors brown and ivory and my dress white....I'm thinking the ivory color dress would go better but I loved the Diamond white color better for my dress.....

SO i'm asking you think it would look ok if I wear diamond white and my girls wear brown dresses with a ivory sash??? Sorry so long you have no idea how I have been stessing over this!!

Any thoughts would be great!!!

Don't you dare get stressed!! You can pick whatever colors you want for any season!!!!! Get it out of your head right now that because you are getting married in the 'summer' you can't use the colors you have dreamed of!!

Do what makes you happy - if it means you wear black and the girls wear biker jackets - DO IT!!!

First off.... CONGRATS ON YOUR YEAR MARK!!

Now that that's out of the way... I think you could absoultly do a fall theme wedding. I feel like it's fall right now!

i love brown and ivory gowns! defiantly go for it!!! you could always add in the tiffany blue color or pink to 'lighten it up' if you want to but defiantly don't need to, but they really look great with the browns and ivorys ... as for the dress, i think diamond white will look gorgeous, because its a little off white! .. gorgeous all around soo stop stressing!!!

it will all be ok..

personally i think brown n ivory in august would be lovely...bc its the end of the summer (basically) and if you have beautiful bright flowers it will be gorgeous..

also...you are a bride...so diamond white is gorgeous n the dresses will be fine (brown/ivory)

i think it will make you stand out that much more.

if you always loved those colors..just do them...bc u may regret that you didnt

i think brown and ivory would be fine. you see alot of brown dresses in the summer, you could lighten it up with flowers. you could do alot of cream colored roses and maybe some pinks. i know that's not 'fall like' but the brown seems to be what you're going for.

I havent read the replies, so i'm sorry if this is all stuff you've already heard, but i saw how stressed you sounded and just had to reply.

I think August is fine for fall colors. I think you can basically do any colors you want any time of year, but browns in August is great, b/c late august is when nights get a little cooler, and all the school stuff is back in stores, my Halloween store is open, so to me, it's fall.

I think your diamond white gown will be wonderful with brown dresses and an ivory sash.

I think the issue would be the other way, like if you had an ivory dress but wanted them to have white sashes... but the way you want it now, is perfect.

There is nothing to stress over, what you want sounds gorgeous and is totally doable.

Yay for 1 year! I think brown is so neutral you could use it all year round! I wanted to have a fall wedding since its my favorite season, but FH is going to be teaching so he really wanted to do summer. Did you already or are you going to have an engagement party? If its still coming up, you could do a fall themed party. To me, September means fall, even if it is 90 degrees and it doesn't officially start until the 2nd to last week and you're only a few days away! Good luck! Have fun planning! congrats on your year mark! and don't get all stressed i think you can do whatever colors you want to do!! its your wedding! i think those colors would go fine with diamond white!
