im going to see my dress today for the first time since august
UPDATE so i go to RK today and try on my dress and it doesnt fit they ordered it too small and they are saying that I gained weight and thats why it doesnt fit...im trying to tell them that i have been this weight since i had my son 2.5 years ago and its not my fault but they keep trying to convince me that its me in front of other brides mind you...i walked out of there crying because i was very offended and i have no wedding dress plus i might not get my money back so tomorrow i have to go and speak to the owner....my bestfriend was with me and took me out so i drowned my sorrows in beer UPDATE #2 i went to rk and spoke to the owner he said he was very sorry and ordered me a dress 2 sizes up from what i have now...it should be here in 2 weeks so we will see thanks ladies for all your support

Oh no they didnt!!! I can't believe theses places have the nerve to say anything like that to there brides!!!! What did they say they were going to do about it?!?!?!
Someone I know had the same thing happen to them (my sisters best friend) and my sister was with her.....WELL, my sister put them in their place!! I wouldve done the same

i can't believe the are blaming you for their mistake. Don't stress it just go there and talk to the owner hopefully she will take responsibility for the stores mistake. good luck!! keep us posted.

When I ordered my dress they wrote my measurements and the size they ordered on my receipt. Did they do that for you??? Maybe if they did u can have them measure you again and prove ur the same size. Hope it works out for you!!

The same thing happened to me and it really does ruin the excitement of the experience.. My lady even told 'oh just lose 10 lbs'.. oh well gee, since that is just so easy to do I should have no problem!
I am so sorry you have to go through that.. I really hope it works out when you talk to someone in charge!

OMG, that is awful! I can't believe they won't own up to their mistake. What a shame- I hope you speak to the manager ASAP and get this straightened out. If you have all your receipts and everything, it SHOULD be straightened out.

Thank goodness they ordered you a new one but OMG what a bunch of jerks telling you that you gained weight!!!!!! I woulda socked them right in the face!!!

aww dont worry hun it will work out my friends dress came in short?! Im talking like 2 inches short with out her heals and they ended up ordering a dress on the rush. It all worked out and so will yours xoxo

This just happened to me too! I went to RK Bridal yesterday for my try on. They ordered the dress too short (56' instead of 58'). It was so funny when I tried it on because I was with my mom and she just had this weird look on her face when I had the dress on...she kept saying its beautiful but kept looking down. Finally she goes ' why do I see your socks'...LOL!!!!
We spoke to the owner he called the manufacturer and said that they made a mistake and that I was getting married in April (I'm getting married in September) so they can rush the order. The dress should be here by March 28th. Which is plenty of time.
Just relax...everything will work out. Mistakes happen...but they can be fixed!

I didn't read all of the posts, but I would have asked for them to pull out the sheet with the measurements they wrote down for you at the time of your fitting. I know exactly what they measured me as, so if they tell me a different measurement, I have evidence to back it up!
