Im so M A D at my mom right now!!!!

Sorry this is long....

I didnt say anything but my dad took my mom to the hospital yesterday AM. She stayed over night and got home around 6pm today.

She went in for chest pains. admitted her and everything seems to be ok. They found some other things they want her to check out but nothing going on with her heart.. THANK GOD. But i know what is causing the chest pains ... STRESS.

Its all stress about work, this happened about 5 years ago, when she was in a bad situation where she WAS working.

Her boss NOW is a jerk lately, my mom has done so much for him and he just doesnt appreciate her for it. (my mom has even taken his children out shopping to buy him bday and holdiday gifts, because THERE mom wont take them) she is getting older and feels she has no where else to go... I understand her frustration, but she takes everything he does personally, ie paying his GF a salary (she does NOT work there by the way and my mom does Payroll). my mom sees this as unfair because he wont pay her more for the ridiculous amount of work she does for him.

anyway.. what makes me mad right now is that she JSUT got home close to 3 hours ago and is on the phone with someone from work talking ABOUT WORK and her BOSS!!!! My dad was just yelling at her to stop, because it stresses her out and she is stillllllll talking....

I really don't know what to do, she is going to let this guy get her to the point where she is sooo sick!!!

I swear stress is the cause of most problems that people experience...tell mom to take care of herself before taking care of her job!!!! Hope everything else is going well...

yeah def talk to her and see if you can get her to see that her boss is making her sick and have these pains

I just read your post... I'm sorry, moms are so silly sometimes... I swear women are the strongest and strangest creatures on earth...

the sad thing is, you can't change her! Just be there for her and maybe try and give her some courage to walk away from the job...

She needs to take it easy - maybe she's do for a nice vacation?

i hope your mom gets better..stress is something that can really take over your life and make u sick...she needs to focus on other things rather than her boss

I am soo sorry your mom is going through this. She needs to be very careul. She should think about what her job is doing to her because it can become serious. I hope everything works out.

i know she wants to but at 53 years old and no college degree she feels she is limited in where she can go. She is very good at what she does but these compnies dont want to hire a 53 year old with no degree and even if they do, they dont want to pay her what she feels she deserves. She cant afford to take a pay cut.

its so hard. and i feel terrible for her
